This is my preferred method for silhouettes. I think I would really, really mess up anything involving a projector. (That's the "classic" method, yes?) And neither of my children would sit still long enough for me to actually finish it, so there's that.

Brilliantly simple! You need to put this on a decor blog linky...they'll eat it up!

That is easy! And I can't decide which I like better, the crafty or that sweet little pig the next shelf up;)

This is the first doable method I've seen. No fancy equipment. I really like this.

NICE! That's a good idea! I've been wondering what to do with my kiddos and putting up more pics on the walls. This just might be what I'll do! Thanks chica!

How awesome is that?! GUess I will have to do this with my kiddos. (No worries, I won't be doing them for the whole neighborhood as I did with the aprons. I am getting ORDERS for my aprons now. Cracks this non-sewer up!) You are so creative.

What a great idea! My kids may actually be willing to sit long enough for one picture!

This is great! I can see why Melissa featured you--this is one of the best tutorials I've seen. Everything you need and not a bit more! :)

Pure genius! I have always wondered how I could get the silouhette drawn onto the paper. With this method, there's no need for that!

Awesome. I've been wanting to make silhouettes of my girls for awhile now but wasn't sure how to go about it! I am not too good with the drawing! Anyway, thanks for sharing this super easy way to do it!

I'm going to do this today! I made these years ago (using projector) for my kindergarten class to give to their moms on mother's day. I have never done them for my own kids though. I'm thinking I'll cut mine out of black scrapbook paper and mounting it on scrapbook paper so it will be acid free and last a while. ;) THANKS!!!!!

Smarty pants. I love silhouettes too but always thought they'd be a pain to do. You make it so simple!
