Seven steps. Three words a piece. No skill required.

1. Take a pic 2. Change the color 3. Cut it out 4. Flip it over 5. Paint it out 6. Stick it on 7. Put it up

  1. This is my preferred method for silhouettes. I think I would really, really mess up anything involving a projector. (That's the "classic" method, yes?) And neither of my children would sit still long enough for me to actually finish it, so there's that.

  4. This is the first doable method I've seen. No fancy equipment. I really like this.

  6. How awesome is that?! GUess I will have to do this with my kiddos. (No worries, I won't be doing them for the whole neighborhood as I did with the aprons. I am getting ORDERS for my aprons now. Cracks this non-sewer up!) You are so creative.

  13. Pure genius! I have always wondered how I could get the silouhette drawn onto the paper. With this method, there's no need for that!

  20. I'm going to do this today! I made these years ago (using projector) for my kindergarten class to give to their moms on mother's day. I have never done them for my own kids though. I'm thinking I'll cut mine out of black scrapbook paper and mounting it on scrapbook paper so it will be acid free and last a while. ;) THANKS!!!!!
