Weekend Update

When I did the hall bathroom downstairs, I used what I had.

I'll be the first to tell you that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

However. It's been the same for a long time, and lately I've been craving some color. Nothing drastic (although I've got a few those ideas too), just a little freshening up.

Just changing out fabric does miracles. I stole a framed owl birthday card from Sierra's room, hung up an orange beach towel and for once a five minute makeover really did take only five minutes.

(Brendan has named the new pattern "owl and squirrel are playing together at the park." I think that means two thumbs up. )

  5. Love it! I found that a twin size flat sheet is just the right width for a shower curtain (does need to be hemmed on one side as it is too long). I used a $7 clearance sheet to sew a shower curtain (still needs a liner) for a home were were staging to sell.
