Christmas 2009

I was a bit late decking the halls this year. Call it laziness. Call it a funk. Whatever it was, I knew I had to get going. The boys little tree that they've had in their room for years finally bit the dust, so I snatched up a cheapy on Craigslist, stuck it in a bucket, and got out the ornaments. Unfortunately, aside from a few balls (appropriate for a boys room, no?) I didn't have any extra ornaments.

But I did have lots of Pokemon. Gotta catch 'em all. AND. After years of patiently (or not so patiently) waiting, I, Rebecca Wisor, finally have a nativity that isn't made by Fisher Price.

Can I get an AMEN? All my Santas chillin' together, whether or not their hat is broken, except my Sugar Daddy Claus, who clearly belongs in the kitchen. Dollar Store garland, and things made by little hands. The theme this year: Sweet and Simple.

  14. You know, I've been in a "funk" lately too. I'm just not as motivated as I once was and have been feeling tired ALL the fuh-reakin' time. Honestly, if you don't care to hear a little too much info from me, I think it's because I need to change my meds. I take an anti-depressant (it's been the same med for 8 years) and lately, it's just been not working. I called my dr. and am expecting him to call back tomorrow.

I hope your funk goes away. Maybe it's because the kiddos are at home but that'll shortly change within the next two "nigh-nights". We count nights instead of days over here. I wish all my kids were in school....

Maybe it's your job? Do you like your job?

Anyways, those are just thoughts on what could be the reason why you are in a funk. You don't have to answer any of the questions to me!! Just want to help!
