Welcome Home

The season of gratitude, and indeed I'm giving thanks for the little things. Like being able to finally bring the knives down from their 11 year safety exile on top of the fridge.

  1. This cracks me up!!! I had not even thought about putting the knives up... and although I don't have to right now I probably should or I will wind up saying "I had no idea she could do that!" I love your blog, it's too funny!

  2. I know what you mean! Congratulations on this big 'next step'. LOL!

I'm looking forward getting REAL dishes again. You know, the pretty kind that can, gasp!, break? Right now we're in that intermediary phase known as Corelleware but I still have some old plasticware kicking around here. Perhaps I should make a big ceremony out of throwing all of it out?

  3. You are an inspiration! We still have our knives up on top of the ovens...maybe one day hubby will get over his fear that our daughter who is now 6.5 will not get into the knives.

Happy Thanksgiving from your Plano fan!

  4. LOL. A few months ago we put our knives on top of the fridge due to our curious 4 year old and 15 month old.

  6. lol- 11 years? Mine are still up in a cabinet. :) I have some years to go I think.

  7. We've had our knives down on the countertops for many years now, in fact I'm working on learning to do a juggling act with them now... LMAO
