If You Like It Then You Shoulda Put A Frame On It

Half a sheet of leftovers

plus the old paneling baseboards. Cute as is (minus the funk tint from my camera),

but even yummier when painted. Happy weekend.

  1. Dang girl! I love what you do! I really love the utensils being framed! I would've never thought of that!

Honestly, where are your inspirations? If you just think them up magically in your head I am so jealous. I love what you're doing to your house. LOVE IT. I love this blog.

  2. Gorgeous.
Good spanking spoons too. Big and just an arms reach away. No rummaging through drawers. Smart girl.

  3. Very Nicely done....It seems as Sierra is also in on helping mom... Recycle, Reuse, Respect, Refuse... Something like that. Glad to see that you are staying on your "ZERO" Budget! I had to go up in the attic to retrieve some paint for the closet that got redone... I was scraping the bottom of the paint can... but I followed your example and used what I had...

    Very cute!

    Love, MOM

  4. Just a quick Question????

Are you starting to teach the kids "powers" in math? Or is that just your way of confusing them.... Maybe it's just me... It looks like two cubed on the door... Or is that just a reminder of your wedding anniversary? Or just that the 23rd was on a Thursday last month? Just checking!

  5. Did the kids start school? I just had the idea that maybe these were yes-I-finally-got-all-those-kids-outta-the-house projects:)

  6. Can you teach me to be creative like this or is it something you have to be born with?

  8. What in the heck? It looked perfect before? WHat made you think you could improve upon perfection?

    Well, you did.

Do you want to adopt me?

  9. Love it! I just happen to have a set of over sized wooden utinsels that my MIL brought home from South Africa nearly 2 years ago. I've never known what to do with them until now! Plus we just took down some old wood trim from a huge frame. I am so using it to make this instead of dumping it like we had planned. What was i thinking! Reuse, reuse, reuse!
