Someday

My way overgrown half inch roots today made me wonder.... at what age do you start getting gray hair? Because it's obviously not looking like it will be 32. Wrinkles? Now that's a different story...

  3. You crack me up!
From someone who at the age of 18 began getting a gray strand every now and then, and now at the ripe OLD age of 35 has the one side of her head completly gray under the lovely shade of blah
The kicker is the last time I had my hair "highlighted" to cover the gray... it didn't take LOL
So now, I wait until it is "safe" to have my hair processed again!
    Gray hair yes, wrinkles no!!!

  8. You're lucky! My poor hubby's had grey hair as long as I've known him. It would just be a couple here and there on the back of his neck, but now they're becoming much more prominent. And my sister (who's the same age as you) has been starting to grey.

I love the original color of your hair! I think it's pretty! But had you not told me that your hair color wasn't red, I would've never known because that color looks so natural on you (and I love that nailpolish on you too)!

  11. Hey there - I'm so glad you dropped by the CC yesterday, and thank you.

Please don't get me started on roots. I'm about 10 years older than you are, which means I've been covering grays for about 20 years now - lovely. I'm due for a color correction, actually - the gray takes the color differently, and sometimes not at all, and I end up looking like a - well, I don't know what I look like. I try to wear my glasses as little as possible.

Love - I hope we'll get to visit again soon.

  12. Well, it's a sad state of affairs :) I'm 47; found my first gray at 24. Been coloring for at least 10 years....

Except instead of gray, it's more like white!!! UGH!!!

  14. Looks like you hit upon the PERFECT TOPIC.... The "Graying" effect! Not only do we love to change the color in our homes... We can't withstand the temptation to change the color of our hair. It's always a joy to see someone you haven't seen in a while (with a different hair color or style) and have them mention that you look familiar... Then when they realize who you are they mention that "your hair use to look different"... umm... was that the blonde, frosted with highlights, brown, red, black, OR was that the short, medium or long faze? Gotta love the change... keeps our husbands and kids wondering what we will come up with NEXT. By the way, I think you have another 10-15years before you need to worry about it.

    Love,

    MOM
