The Secret's In The Sauce

Alright, this has nothing to do with sauce, I just wanted to say that.

But it does have to do with my secret.

For hanging stuff, that is. In places that you don't want to nail into, like a tile backsplash.

What's up with this spot anyway? Doesn't it look so sad? If you look closely you can see my little trick.

VELCRO.

Hey, if it can hold this...

it will certainly do the job here

and hold this. Nothing fancy, but it fills up the space.

(And draws your attention away from that orange stained spatula.)

(Almost.)

UPDATE (for you Mom): The kitties are doing better. Hayden set up a "kitty resting place" under the ottoman. Looks suspiously like a mini-fort, but we all know that those have been forbidden. And my kids don't ever do things I've forbidden. Obviously.

  3. Now I want to watch Fried Green Tomatoes.

I would do this, if only I had a backsplash. Maybe I could use Velcro to hang something over the big hole where my backsplash is supposed to be.
