One Is The Loneliest Number

After all the attention the garage door got, the pantry door was feeling left out. Not to mention looking completely naked. Hurry-cover your eyes! And please don't leave comments asking why the handles of the two doors don't match. Some things just aren't fit for blog posts. A pack of these from Target, peel n stick the peel n sticky things, (And yes, that is cookie dough on a pan ready to go into the oven. That's just the way I roll...some call it multi-tasking, I call it a sweet reward for when I finish. Or not having the ability to work on only one project at a time.)Yes, I realize that you can see the white of the door peeking through the millimeter of a seam of the tiles, but, let's face it, perfection is not my game. Then some trim for the finishing touch, (and, speaking of perfection, stop marvelling at how spotless/organized/user friendly I keep my garage. My husband loves that about me too)and a little help from an old friend,a coat of black paint and this bad boy's ready to load up.Probably the most barren he will ever be. And notice the sign you made me, Liz, that's oh so appropriate for our kitchen? It is exactly the same color as the door. You love me.

  4. seriously. you are amazing.

i remember going to your house for someone's (khristie's?) bridal shower years and years ago - at your house over in fig gardenish. and commenting to khristie, "wow, i love this house!" and she told me, "yeah, becky did it all herself." i was so amazed that a girl could do such things! you had these cool mitered mouldings all through the front room that was so cutely decorated and painted in a cool taupe color. i've been trying to achieve that feel in my own house since then.

  7. Rebecca,
Once again awesome. But, I am wondering if it was your way of procrastinating the thoughts of the dreaded talk on Sunday??? I know I would be using that and cookies to help avoid the dreaded!
I think those cookies sound really good right now. Don't tempt me!

  9. Question: What do you use to attach your moldings? Liquid nails? Actual nails? Something else? Inquiring minds...
