Completely Distracted

Yes, I'm supposed to be packing. And I am. I promise. But even though I stick by my motto of "Why finish one project when you can start five?" I thought I would document the finishing of one project. Two chairs and a table. All done. In theory now isn't the time to be painting my $20 craigslist find (two of the chairs I already had), but since there is a plethra of "vanilla" paint out in the garage, I figure it's cheaper to borrow that than moving and buying my own paint. Not to mention it's relaxing, which is more than I can say for moving - six months after we just moved. And 16 months before that. And 16 months before that. And 2 years before that. It is going to be so nice to be in something that is truly ours again, a blank canvas that I can transform any way I want. New house = New Projects. Bring it on.

  2. I should have NEVER given you a paint brush and paint when you were little.... Just Kidding....The Table and Chairs are SOooooooooooooooooooo Cute!!! Keep the ideas flowing! I really am pleased that you find joy and relaxation in painting.... I don't believe that there is anything that can't be redone with a little paint! Have you thought about introducing BRENDAN to a paint brush, paint and a BLANK wall? Just Checking... Love, MOM

  4. I love the motto! I was JUST telling Justin, by the way we are packing also, that I have Grandma Barbara in me. I can't finish just one thing... I have to start 50! So we have to rent our house out quick! We are having our final walk through this Friday!!! So today 2 different rentees came to look at the house. So of course I was a crazy woman packing "extra fluff" in boxes and putting it in the garage, while deep cleaning the house at the same time. All that work and the people didn't even notice the 1500 sq feet of carpet I shampooed for them!!!
