Negotiations Are Over (we hope!)

We have a verbally accepted offer, so I guess it is safe to post pictures :)

Alright, we fell in love with this house before we ever went in.

As we drove through the neighborhood we were already sold. It's called "Briarwood Estates" and all of the homes are custom built, so there are no two alike. Tons of charm, mature trees, and right across the way from a brook (hence the street name "Rockbrook").

Built in 1968, we will definitely be investing in LOTS of primer, paint, and maybe a bathroom remodel or two (or three). But the feel in this house is magical, like a little cottage, only with room enough for seven. Just consider these the "BEFORE" photos...

  1. Congratulations! I can totally see you and your family in this house!... Isn't the backsplash in the kitchen the same one that you picked out in Utah? The bookshelf in Sierra's Room is so "her"! I can already imagine her filling up the spaces with BOOKS and then going to find some more! Even the unique Cupboards in the kitchen are interesting! It's ADORABLE!!! and looks like it could be the cottage of the 7 Little Dwarfs... or WISORS... I Hope everything falls into place! It' nice to see you EXCITED about a HOUSE AGAIN!

    Love MOM

  5. AWESOME! I love the kitchen and retaining wall in the back yard. I hope escrow is super smooth for you! I can't wait to see what you do with the home. It looks good already but I know you have the gift to be able to see things for their potential. With a touch of Rebbecca that house is going to blow me away! Can't wait to see pics of your projects.
