Today Is The Day (again)

So it was supposed to be a new years resolution, but now it will begin as a first day back to school after spring break lifestyle change. Oooh, I like the sound of that. Yesterday I was getting dressed for church and slipped on my skirt...or should I say "ripped" on my skirt? Anyhow, let the record show that it did zip, but even my dear, sweet supportive husband, who usually prefers me bulging out if ya know what I'm sayin', said it "looked a little too small." Yes. IT is too small. I am not too BIG. So although I don't feel the need to begin a gung ho weight loss frenzy, I certainly could be eater healthier and moving around more (doesn't scrubbing toilets count for aerobic activity? Dang it. I'm not doing anymore then.) Not to mention fit into all of my clothes. So now everyone will know and in theory being accountable is a good source of motivation. We'll see about that. Every Monday I will give a report of my progress. I've been up for 2 hours now and so far so good...

  1. i have to laugh- reminds me of when i was pregnant and realized it wasn't the jeans that made my butt look fat, it was my fat butt that made my butt look fat. good luck on your journey (it's an never ending process with me)
